"What Iraqi & Afghani Kids Need to Know About Democracy," a new contest for school children in grades 4 through 8, has been announced by PeprallyUSA.com. The contest calls for school classes of students to create, together, illustrated books based on the United States Constitution and its amendments, providing visual and written expressions of the meaning of each, and examples of how these principles and laws would apply in day to day living.

If you're between the ages of 16 and 26, and you're a registered voter (if you're old enough), put together a team of 5-10 people that you work well with. This contest will pit teams all over the USA against eachother, as they exert their energy, talents and imagination into increasing the number of registered voters in their Congressional districts, and the number of people who VOTE in the 2004 Presidential Election. The team that registers the MOST VOTERS and the BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT in Voting percentages WILL WIN $500 FOR EACH PERSON!

One photograph that is representative of American pride, or history, citizens service to others, struggles, triumphs or celebrations of equality, freedom, justice, courage, or your personal heroes will be selected each week, for publication on PeprallyUSA.com's home page. The photographer will receive a check for $20 for every photograph accepted for publication.

In January 2005, a panel of judges will select three of the published photographs to be awarded prizes totalling $1000! No person will be awarded a prize who is NOT a registered voter, or, if a minor, the custodial parent of whom is not a registered voter.

TASK:

Design a 20 inch x30 inch poster, with coordinating baseball cap, beret, t-shirt, bumper sticker, and 8.5 x11 display sign all of which will motivate people to register and vote in the 2004 elections.

Every element of the design and copy must be original art created by you. You may enter as many times as you'd like. No purchase necessary to enter.
