This is a message to all of the service men and women who are serving their country and protecting the way of life that we all here enjoy, but all too often, take for granted. "I want to express my gratitude to you, and let you know that you are all in my family's and my prayers and thoughts.

I try to keep in mind, just how lucky I am to be living here where I can raise my daughter in a country where she can know peace and freedom. A place where she is taught the Pledge of Allegience and still stands and recites it every morning at school, with her little hand held over her heart. A place where I go to bed every night, with the knowledge that there are thousands of brave men and women standing guard, working hard, and protecting every freedom that we enjoy.
