Craig Hadley, of Trenton, took this picture he named "The Price of Freedom Never Changes". Mr. Hadley says, "This picture was taken during a support rally at the New Jersey Vietnam War Memorial, in April, 2003. It is one of the statues dedicated to our fallen service men and women of the Vietnam War. I was at the rally to support our troops in Iraq; I know how important it is since I am a Vietnam Veteran myself." I have been following the war in Iraq from day 1 and although am not directly affected, for none of my family members are overseas, I do have one friend there, and consider all the soldiers to be "family". They are fighting for our country, and that is enough to make me care for them like family. I am more then willingly to do whatever it takes to help them out however they need. Please let me know of something that they need so that I can do my part in this war." --Sincerly, Kristen M., Washington, NJ, 07882 |
