Starting Monday, March 24th, Bank of America and Nevada Benefits have set up a joint account to purchase calling cards for our troops. The cards will be divided equally among the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. Every single dollar will be used specifically to purchase these cards. The account number is: 004964908781. For additional information on this program, please call Phil at 702-258-1995 or email him at phil@nevadabenefits.com. United Blood Services Is Looking for Just Your Type! Of blood, that is. United Blood Services is being asked to fulfill Military Request for blood. Come out and donate blood for deployed service members. Eligible donors must be at least 17 years old and 110 pounds. On average, the typical time to donate is about 90 minutes. All donors must present proper identification. United Blood Services is a non-profit organization established in 1950. Donors can call 233-9620 to make an appointment or ask questions about eligibility. The Red Cross of southern Nevada is looking for volunteers to help pack up items being sent to troops in the Middle East. If you can help, give them a call at 791-3311.
